8 boxes vanilla (or banana cream) instant pudding mix
12 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip
4 cans pineapple tidbits (chilled, drained well)
6 med. bananas, not too ripe, sliced
2 (16 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained, cut up into halves or quarters
Some coconut

In large, preferably clear, bowl mix pudding mix and milk; chill. Fold in Cool Whip. Layer pudding mixture, pineapple, then pudding mixture, bananas, pudding mixture, then put cherries and coconut on top.
