SHRIMP GUMBO 
2 c. sliced okra
1/2 c. diced ham
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
6 tomatoes, diced
1 c. hot water
1/4 lb. boiled popcorn shrimp
Cooked rice

Saute okra, garlic and ham in oil. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp. Cook 30 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice. Makes six servings.
