LOUISIANA GUMBO 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. (8 oz.) shrimp
1 lb. diced ham
1 1/2 boneless chicken
1 lg. red bell pepper
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
Okra

Fry all meat and set aside. Dice chicken part and fry until tender. Fry onion until lightly brown. Fry okra, stirring constantly, until nearly cooked. Add all the ingredients and add water about an inch above the ingredients. Cover and cook slowly. Stir while cooking and cook until desired thickness. Serves 8.
