ENGLISH TOFFEE 
Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Sprinkle chopped pecans on it.

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. corn syrup
3 tbsp. water

Cook, stirring constantly until 290 degrees on candy thermometer. Pour over nuts on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. When melted, spread and sprinkle with more chopped pecans. Cool and break into pieces.
