MINT FUDGE BROWNIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 tsp. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Nestle Toll house mint chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a small bowl combine baking soda and sugar; set aside. In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add Nestle chips and vanilla extract. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. Makes 4 dozen.
