FRESH PEACH COBBLER 
350 degree oven. Melt 1/4 cup (half stick) butter in 9 x 12 x 2 inch baking dish. Let cool. Slice 2 cups fresh peaches (peeled). Cover with 1 cup sugar. Set aside.

FOR BATTER:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
3/4 c. milk

Stir well until smooth. Pour over melted butter, arrange peach slices on top. Don't stir! Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

A 9 inch square pan will also work.
