GRANDPA'S NORWEGIAN MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 c. bread crumbs 3 tbsp. shortening 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 tsp. sage 1 soup can water Salt & pepper for taste Fry onion in shortening until light brown. Mix meat, seasoning, bread crumbs and onions. Make into balls and brown in shortening. Place in casserole and pour mushroom soup over meatballs. Add can of water over top. Bake in slow oven (250 degrees) for 1 1/2 hours. Serve. |
