1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. Wesson or any other good grade vegetable oil
4 egg yolks

Put all ingredients into bowl and mix with mixer about 1 minute. Pour into oblong pan and bake about 20 or 25 minutes at 350 degrees or until done when tested with toothpick. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
