WHITE FUDGE 
2 1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. chopped candied cherries

Grease 8" pan with butter. Combine sugar, sour cream, milk, butter, corn syrup and salt in heavy pan. Stir and boil to 238 degrees or soft ball stage. Remove from heat and cool one hour. Add vanilla and beat until mixture begins to lose its gloss. Stir in walnuts and cherries and turn into pan. Let stand until firm before cutting. Wrap squares in Saran Wrap.
