TURKEY BURGERS 
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs or wheat germ
1/2 c. green onions (scallions), sliced
4 tsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce or more to taste
1 lb. ground raw turkey

Combine first 6 ingredients. Add turkey and mix well; shape into 4 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Heat heavy or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, having sprayed first with noon-stick spray. Sear burgers for 2 minutes on first side, turn over and repeat. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover skillet and cook an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink inside. 4 servings.

Option: Grill burgers over medium-hot coals for 8 to 10 minutes or until well done.
