DINNER ROLLS ITALIANO | |
1 c. milk 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 1/2 c. flour 2 tbsp. yeast 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 2 well beaten eggs 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 3 to 3 1/2 c. flour Heat milk, water, sugar, butter and garlic salt together until just warm (not too hot to the touch). Combine flour, yeast and Italian seasoning, then add to already heated mixture. Add 2 well-beaten eggs; beat in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour. Stir in extra flour. Knead to a moderately stiff dough. Shape into a ball. Cover in greased bowl. Rise 45 minutes. Punch down and rest 10 minutes. Shape into small balls. Grease pan. Place in pan. Brush with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Let rise 15 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. |
