SPAGHETTI 
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 clove garlic (optional)
1 med. onion, diced
1 stalk celery, sliced
1/2 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 lg. can tomatoes (cut into sm. pieces)
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. sugar may be added if too tart

Steam or boil in small amount of water, the clove of garlic, onion, celery and green pepper. Brown ground beef and drain excess fat. Add steamed vegetables and remaining ingredients. Simmer 3-5 hours. Serve over cooked pasta. Sprinkle grated Parmesan or Romano cheese over top. Serve with tossed salad and/or garlic bread.
