MOM'S FAVORITE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
2 med. sliced potatoes
2 thinly sliced onions
1 c. canned tomatoes
1 green pepper, sliced
3/4 c. quick cooking rice
1/2 pkg. onion soup
1 tsp. soy sauce
3/4 c. hot water
1 can cream chicken soup
1/2 can evaporated milk
Cover top with sliced mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. cornflake crumbs

Layer of potatoes in casserole dish. Brown hamburger in pan with salt and pepper and garlic salt to taste. Cook rice in 3/4 cup of hot water. Add tomatoes, green pepper, onion, onion soup mix and soy sauce.

Layer in casserole. Mix can of cream chicken soup with milk. Pour over contents in casserole. Cover with sliced cheese and cornflake crumbs. Dot butter and ketchup over top also. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Serves 4-6.
