BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
2 pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed slightly (or fresh steamed broccoli)
1 chopped onion
1/2 lb. bacon
1 can button mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup (when I double the recipe, I use 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can cream of chicken)

Brown diced bacon. Drain grease and brown onion. Add mushroom soup and mushrooms. Put 1/2 broccoli in bottom of 9 x 9 inch pan and cover with 1/2 mushroom-bacon mixture. Add rest of broccoli and top with rest of mixture. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Can be made early in the day.
