ELEGANT PEAS (MICROWAVE) 
1/4 c. finely chopped celery
3 scallions, thinly sliced
1/4 c. red or green peppers, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tbsp. butter
1 (4 oz.) can button mushrooms
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1/3 tsp. seasoned salt

Mix together celery, scallions, green or red pepper and butter and put into a 1 quart microwave proof casserole and cover with casserole lid. Place covered casserole in microwave oven and microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover casserole once again and micro-cook on High for approximately 7 to 8 minutes or until peas are tender, when tested. Sprinkle with a little paprika, if desired before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
