MEAT PIES 
Brown the following in heavy skillet:

1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
Green onion blades (optional)
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1-2 tbsp. flour
1/4 - 1/2 c. water

Cool completely. (You will have a mess if you don't.) Mix together 4 cups flour (unsifted) 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar. Cut in 1 cup Crisco. Mix together 2 beaten eggs, 3/4 cup water and 1 tablespoon vinegar. Pour into and mix with dry ingredients. Chill.

Roll out 1/4 of dough at a time. Cut around a saucer for shape. Moisten edges with water. Spread a little cold filling on, fold over, crimp with fork. Place on cookie sheet, prick center top and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. May be frozen raw.
