RED CABBAGE & CRANBERRIES 
1 (2 lb.) red cabbage, shredded finely
2 c. fresh cranberries
2 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1 c. dry red wine
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Place cabbage, cranberries and apples in large pot.

Combine remaining ingredients in small saucepan and heat to boiling. Pour this over cabbage mixture and bring to boil.

Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until tender. Add a bit of water during cooking, if needed.

Makes 6 to 8 servings. Great with turkey leftovers!
