SWEET POTATO PIE 
2 C cooked sweet potatoes
1/4 C butter
1/2 tsp ginger
3 eggs
1 C canned milk
1 1/4 C sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 C bourbon
Unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Boil sweet potatoes in jackets until tender. Peel and cream potatoes until smooth. Then combine with all other ingredients and place in unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and cook an additional 1 hour and 20 minutes.
