BLUEBERRY SQUARES 
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks to dry ingredients with milk. Add vanilla and stir. Place into greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and let cool. Spread with blueberries and top with meringue.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
Pinch salt
4 tbsp. sugar

Beat egg whites and salt to soft peaks. Beat in sugar until stiff. Spread on top of squares. Put back in oven and bake at 300 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
