PIEROGI CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles 10 to 12 med. potatoes 2 lg. chopped onions 8 oz. mild cheddar cheese, shredded 2 sticks butter Chop onions and fry in butter. Cook potatoes and mash. Add cheese. Pour 1/2 butter and onion mixture in potatoes with cheese. Cook noodles and drain. Grease a 9 x 13 inch oblong pan and add a little milk to prevent sticking. Layer noodles and potato mixture. Pour remaining 1/2 of butter and onion mixture on top layer of lasagna noodles. Cover with foil. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. |
