WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Cream sugar and shortening 1 minute. Add 1 egg at a time and beat with mixer for 1 to 2 minutes each. Add lemon and vanilla. With spoon add flour, baking powder and whipping cream. Stir very slowly until all flour and cream is mixed in. Place in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake 80 to 90 minutes at 300 degrees.
