WALDORF SALAD 
4 med. apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. halved seedless green grapes
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. whipping cream or equal amount of whipped topping
Ground nutmeg

Core and dice apples (to make about 4 cups). In a large bowl sprinkle cut up apples with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Add celery, grapes, walnuts and raisins.

For dressing. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise or salad dressing, sugar and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Whip cream just until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into the mayonnaise mixture; spoon over the apple mixture. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Cover and chill. To serve, fold dressing into fruit mixture. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
