VEGETABLE TEMPURA 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. each salt, pepper and garlic powder
1 egg, beaten
Cauliflower, carrots, eggplant cubed

Mix flour and seasonings; add egg. Stir in enough water to make stiff batter. Dip vegetables in batter. Cook, 1 piece at a time in hot oil until brown; turn once. Place on paper towel. Serve immediately with soy sauce.
