BOSTON BROWN BREAD 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. 40% Bran Flakes
1 tsp. baking soda in milk
1/4 c. raisins or dates and nuts

Grease pan. Bake 1 hour in 375 degree oven. (If no buttermilk, put 2 tablespoons vinegar in sweet milk and let stand for few minutes.)
