TOMATO CATSUP

6 lbs. tomatoes (18 med.)
1 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. salt
Artificial sweetener equivalent to 1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 stick cinnamon
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. paprika

Wash, drain, core and chop tomatoes. Cook with onions until soft; press through a sieve. Boil rapidly until reduced to half. Add salt, artificial sweetener and spices (tied in a bag). Boil until thick. Add vinegar and paprika. Boil 5 minutes longer or until as thick as desired. Pour into clean, hot jars and seal at once.
