STEAMED CABBAGE SLAW 
1 med. head sliced cabbage
2 med. sliced onions
3/4 c. sugar

IN SAUCEPAN:

1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 c. oil (add later)

Layer cabbage and onions in alternate layers in pan with tight lid. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar; set aside.

Bring saucepan mixture to boil. Add 1 cup salad oil and bring to boil again. Pour over cabbage. Cover. Let stand overnight.
