CAROLE'S CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa; set aside. Heat water, butter and oil. Add to flour mixture. Then add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. (Batter is thin.) Pour into jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Add powdered sugar, cocoa, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Frost cake while warm.
