FRENCH SILK PIE
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

FOR FILLING:

1/2 c. soft butter
2 eggs
Whipped cream
3/4 c. sugar
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate

Heat oven to 300 degrees. In 9 inch square pan, combine flour, nuts, brown sugar and butter. Put the pan in oven for 15 minutes or until butter is melted. Remove pan from oven; mix the contents. Pat into a firm layer in bottom of pan. Turn heat to 350 degrees. Return the pan to the oven and bake 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool several minutes, then refrigerate until cool.

Using electric beater, beat butter until smooth; add sugar gradually, beating well after each addition. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each one.
