FRUIT PIE CRUMB TOPPING | |
1/4 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 tbsp. unsalted butter 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Mix ingredients together with a fork. Mixture will be lumpy and crumbly. Liberally sprinkle on top of any unbaked fruit pie instead of pastry topping. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake an additional 50 minutes. Let pie cool before serving. |
