STUFFED BUTTER COOKIES 
1 lb. farina
1 lb. rendered butter
2 tbsp. mahlab (blackcherry kernel), ground
Flour
1 lb. nuts
1 tbsp. orange blossom water (mazzaher)
1 c. sugar
Confectioners sugar

Mix farina and butter very well. Begin to add flour to make dough until mixture does not adhere to hands. Form into small hollow football shape and stuff with nut mixture (grind nuts, sugar and mazzaher). Put tablespoon of filling in each. Round off edges. Bake in ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar immediately. Allow to cool on trays. Before serving, sprinkle generously with confectioners sugar.
