FROSTED WALNUTS 
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. walnuts

Combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla in 2 quart heavy saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage (234 degrees), stirring frequently.

Add walnuts and stir to coat. Turn onto buttered baking sheet and separate with 2 forks. Package and freeze in airtight containers or eat. Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
