WALNUT FROSTING 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

1 c. walnuts, crushed
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Gradually add dry ingredients mixed together. Make dough into 1 inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Make a depression on each ball with thumb.

Mix together filling ingredients and put 1/2 teaspoon of filling on each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
