BANANA POUND CAKE 
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups mashed bananas
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Beat sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla together. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and allspice together; blend in with mixture real well. Add pineapple and juice with bananas and nuts; stir well with mixture.

Put in ungreased angel food pan; bake at 350°F for 1 hour, then 325°F for 20 minutes. Cool, then put on a glaze icing, if desired.
