BLACK BEEF 
1 lg. tender boneless cut of beef (eye of round, chuck or brisket)

MARINADE:

3 lg. onions
3 cloves garlic
1 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. mixed Italian herbs
1/4 c. Kitchen Bouquet

Place all marinade ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Marinate meat overnight. To cook, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place meat on rack of broiler pan. put 3 cups of water in bottom of broiler pan. Roast 30 minutes at 350 degrees; reduce temperature to 150 degrees and roast 8 hours for rare; 9 hours for medium; 10 hours for well done. Do Not Open Oven During Roasting! Meat will be black outside and pink and juicy inside. Note: This marinade is also good for chicken cooked on grill.
