CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 sticks creamery butter
3 c. granulated sugar
6 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 c. cake flour (Velvet or Swansdown)

Have ALL ingredients at room temperature. Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add cream cheese. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Fold in cake flour. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Bake in a 12 cup tube pan at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Line pan with wax (parchment) paper and grease before filling. Test doneness with cake tester or when cake pulls away from side of pan.
