TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
8 oz. pkg. bread cubes 1 stick butter, melted 1 c. water 2 1/2 c. diced turkey or chicken or tuna 3/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. celery 1/2 c. mayonnaise 3/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 can cream of mushroom soup Grated Cheddar cheese Mix bread cubes, butter and water. Place 1/2 of the mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan. Add turkey, onion, celery, mayonnaise and salt. Add other half of dressing. Beat eggs with milk and pour over. Refrigerate overnight. Take out 1 hour before baking and pour over the mushroom soup. Bake uncovered 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake 10 minutes more. |
