HOMEMADE YEAST ROLLS 
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
Salt (to taste)
5 lb. flour
1 pkg. yeast

Scald milk. Add oil, sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Add yeast to 1 cup of warm water, let dissolve. Add yeast to milk when the milk has cooled to lukewarm. Add enough flour to milk to make a thick paste. Let this rise to double. Knead in remainder of flour and make rolls. Let rolls rise and bake until brown in 350 degree oven.
