PETER PAUL ALMOND JOY CAKE 
1 box chocolate cake mix with pudding in mix

Prepare cake according to package instructions.

Bake in an 11 x 15 x 2-inch pan according to directions on cake mix box. You need to start the filling as soon as you put the cake in the oven as it takes about the same length of time for the marshmallows to melt as it does the cake to bake.

Filling:

1 c. sugar
1 (10 oz.) pkg. large marshmallows
1 (14 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut

Combine milk and sugar. Add marshmallows and heat, stirring, until melted. Add coconut and pour over hot cake.

Topping:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. toasted almonds, chopped (you can use pecans)

Combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to boil. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Stir in nuts. Pour over warm cake. Cut in 2-inch squares and enjoy!
