I've always tried to name homemade playdough, but it never works. Thank you very much for making this who ever did. It's Amazing. Good Job :)

This is very safe as even when children put the play dough in their mouth it would not harm them if you use edible oil.

Excellent recipe... I halved tho to make two different colors... added the colour to the water, and followed instructions, was so simple, gonna do this again, I suppose you can use 2 tsp. cream of tarter added to the water for extend Shelf period, or any other flavoring like lemon juice, vanilla essence, strawberry essence... And add glitter to give it the sparkly effect!

I used this recipe and my grandchildren loved it. I added warming oils Jasmine, Lilac, and Sandalwood for a calming effect. Makes the house smell like a day spa.
Also suggest the new laundry pods by snuggle, added this and made heart shape cut outs to put inside clothing and linen drawers for an added freshness around the house and inside little boys dirty laundry.

My 7 year old daughter had a fantastic time making the home-made playdough. Very easy to mix. Some tibits to follow, add 1 1/2 cup of water than 1 cup and mix all the liquids together first, then add the salt and flour to it..Also, you only need 1/2 cup of salt. Enjoy

I made this playdough with 1 cup salt instead. I also added food coloring and coconut extract to the liquid section before adding it to the flour. Smells great and is pretty soft. Super easy!! Thanks for the recipe!

Great, simple and easy to make. Turned a quiet day into a fabulous creative one with this recipe. Showed grandchild and other family members that you can have fun without technology gadgets! Children and adults.

Warm water is best for a smooth consistency. I didn't have any food coloring, but I mixed in a few teaspoons of some old non-toxic fingerpaints I had and added a bit more flour. The result was terrific, my preschool daughter loves it!
