KABOBS 
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. salad oil
2 slices lemon
1 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
Meat for kabobs

Combine first 9 ingredients with several dashes hot pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cool completely. Then add meat, stir and coat. Marinate 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
