CASSEROLE OF BEEF 
2 tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 onions, sliced
2 green peppers, shredded
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cubed
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. canned tomatoes

Melt the butter; add the garlic, onions, pepper and sugar. Fry until beginning to turn yellow. Then roll the meat in the flour and seasonings and add to the onion when browned. Transfer to a casserole. Add the tomatoes; cover and bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
