GREEN BEANS MARINARA | |
2 lbs. fresh green beans 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 clove chopped garlic 1 c. chopped onion 1 (35 oz.) can whole tomatoes in juice 1 tbsp. fresh chopped basil 1/2 tsp. oregano, salt & pepper Clean and wash beans. Boil in unsalted water until tender. Drain. In a saucepan saute garlic in olive oil. Stir in onions. Simmer until onions transparent. Crush tomatoes with a fork and add to saucepan (include juice). Season with salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Simmer for 20 minutes. |
