GREEN BEANS AND LAMB 
1 lb. lamb or beef (cubed)
2 lbs. green string beans (pieces or halved)
1 med. onion (sliced)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. mint
1 tsp. parsley
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
1 c. water

Brown chopped onion and lamb in a small amount of cooking oil. Add the beans and cup of water or more if you wish more liquid. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, paste, spices. Simmer 25-30 minutes or until beans are tender. Serve over steamed rice. Other vegetables that can be used are limas, okra, zucchini, or mushrooms but would require less cooking time.
