HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1/2 c. softened butter
2/3 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream butter and Crisco until smooth. Beat in sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Gradually add flour, salt, and soda. When well blended, fold in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes, no longer than 10 minutes.
