Turn on oven to 350 degrees. Get out the bowl, spoons and ingredients. Grease the pan. Crack nuts. Remove 18 blocks and 7 toy cars from the kitchen table. Measure out 2 cups of flour and wash the flour off Johnny's hands.

Put flour, baking powder and salt in sifter. Get a dustpan and sweep up pieces of bowl that Johnny knocked off the table and onto the floor. Get another bowl. Answer the doorbell.

Return to the kitchen. Remove Johnny's hands from bowl and wash. Get out the egg and answer the phone. Return. Take out greased pan. Remove 1/4 inch salt from pan. Look for Johnny.

Return to kitchen and find Johnny. Remove his hands from bowl. Wash shortening, etc. off Johnny. Take up greased pans and find layer of nut shells in pan. Head for Johnny, who flies upstairs, knocking bowl off the table. Wash kitchen floor. Wash table. Wash walls. Wash dishes. Call up the baker. LIE DOWN!!!
