10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
1 can (10 1/2 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
1 egg, slightly beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup croutons or bread crumbs
1/2 cup (6 slices) American cheese, cubed or cut in to smaller pieces

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook broccoli as directed and drain well. Add soup, egg, mayonnaise, cheese, salt and pepper to broccoli and pour into a 2-quart casserole which has been buttered. Toss butter and croutons together and sprinkle over broccoli.

Bake for 45 minutes.
