CAPE COD CRANBERRY PIE 
2 c. cranberries
2 c. sugar, divided
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. melted Crisco

Grease a 10 inch pie plate. Spread cranberries on bottom. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar and nuts. In a bowl beat 1 cup sugar with beaten eggs. Mix in melted butter and shortening. Stir in flour. Pour mixture over cranberries. Spread batter to cover the berries. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
