CAPE COD CORNBREAD 
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. corn oil

Sift together first five ingredients. Add this to the milk, egg and oil mixture. Fold together quickly. Pour into greased and floured 8x8 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Butter top as soon as you remove from oven.
