CHEESE PUFFS 
1 loaf unsliced bread
2 cubes butter
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
4 egg whites

Remove crust from bread, cut into 1-inch squares. Mix butter and cheese in double boiler. Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.

Beat egg white until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture. Dip bread cubes in mixture and put on tray covered with wax paper. Freeze solid, then store in freezer in plastic bag or freezer container.

When ready to serve, remove from freezer, put directly on trays and take for 10 or 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve immediately. 6-8 servings.
