CHEESECAKE BARS 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 ( 8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream first 4 ingredients together, reserving 1 cup for topping. Press firmly in bottom of 8 x 8 inch pan and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth and add milk gradually. Then add egg, lemon juice and vanilla. Pour over crust and sprinkle cup of reserved topping. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
